What I did was I just made a pretty basic fill, with a snare, a hat, and a kick drum. I got the beats from "Daft Punk", mainly the song "Harder,Better,Faster,Stronger." They are a really good techno group. Check them out. I also got some of the beats from the band "The Sounds", the songs being "Hit Me", along with "Rock 'N Roll." They are a rock band and their drummer has really basic beats, but it goes really good with the music they play. For the others, I used a couple of different hats, and at the end, that sweet hat, and NOICE!!! my first drum loop.

That was really cool!!! i don't think there was anything i didn't like about it! My favorite part was the ending i thought that was pretty cool!!!!
lucas my man that was awsome. the way you used the alternate kick and the glass taps in the middle . also that hit at the end SWEET.just i would change the snare. kool keep it up.
I really liked the fill and that hit at the end was awesome! Overall, I can't really criticize it because i liked all of it! Very nice.
This is simple and it worked. I don't think adding any more instruments would improve it, but balancing what you already have would. When you are only using a few sounds, the balance has to be spot on- no room for error. In this case, I thought the kick drum was overwhelming. I would have liked to have heard less.
On the upside, you have a great post. I love the links! It helped me to understand where you are coming from musically. Well done !
